"When I met Ben, I was struggling with multiple sclerosis. As an alternative resource to fight the disease, my doctor advised me to search for a personal trainer that could help. My doctor recommended alternative methods of treatment that included a specific diet, specific exercise two to three times per week, as well as weekly massages.
Ben admitted that he did not have much experience with MS, but would be willing to communicate with my physicians and research the disease in order to improve my functionality and manage my symptoms. Ben did all that he said he would do and more. He structured a progressive workout program that included weightlifting, cardio and boxing. I remember the day Ben and I ran the first 5K race of my life. It was a feeling I had never felt. I was inspired to keep going, keep pushing, and continue to enjoy better health. Since that day, I have now completed many races from 5K’s, 10K’s, two half marathons and in November of 2010, I completed the New York City Marathon.
